As an SEO Specialist, you will be an integral part of our Growth Team, playing a crucial role in enhancing our brand recognition through optimizing our online presence and increasing our visibility on search engines. You will be responsible for implementing innovative SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, analyzing web traffic metrics, and collaborating with our marketing team to align SEO with overall marketing goals. Our Marketing department is headquartered in Oslo, conveniently located near Holbergs Plass, downtown Oslo. Our workspace is designed to foster collaboration, innovation, and a positive work environment. However, for this position, physical presence at our office on a regular basis is not required, so candidates located in other European countries will also be considered.
Search Engine Optimization:
Develop and execute an advanced SEO strategy encompassing on-page, off-page, and technical optimizations to improve our website's organic search performance.
Collaborate closely with the content team to ensure all web content is optimized for search engines and aligns with strategic SEO goals.
Lead the development of compelling, SEO-friendly content, including meta tags, headers, and on-page elements, with a focus on improving both user experience and search engine visibility.
Regularly review and update existing content to ensure it aligns with current SEO best practices and industry trends.
Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits, identifying and resolving issues related to site speed, crawlability, and indexing.
Work closely with our agency to implement technical recommendations and improve website infrastructure for optimal search engine performance.
Keyword Research and Analysis:
Conduct thorough keyword research using industry-leading tools to identify high-value opportunities for content creation and optimization.
Analyze keyword performance, trends, and competitors to refine targeting strategies and improve overall visibility.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party platforms to measure the impact of SEO initiatives.
Generate detailed reports, providing insights into key metrics, traffic sources, and conversion rates, and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
Link Building and Outreach:
Develop and execute effective link-building strategies to enhance the website's authority and credibility.
Conduct outreach to industry influencers, partners, and relevant websites to secure high-quality backlinks.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a dedicated SEO role, demonstrating a track record of successful organic growth for websites.
Advanced Technical Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and technical SEO best practices.
Proficiency in using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms.
Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging and optimized content.
Experience developing and optimizing content for various online channels, including blogs, landing pages, and social media.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Experience with A/B testing and other data-driven optimization techniques.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including content creators, web developers, and marketing teams.
Proactive in staying updated with industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging SEO technologies.
