Market Manager, Montel Marketplace

Laura Malinen is the Market Manager for Guarantees of Origin at the Montel Marketplace. She has extensive experience from working in leadership roles in close cooperation with Issuing Bodies, institutional actors and IT-actors within the Guarantees of Origin-sector, as well as from cooperating with market actors. Her role allows her to pull this experience together. Laura's passion is making the complex understandable and approachable.

Minatore Zogaj

Managing Director, Montel Marketplace

Minatore Zogaj is the Managing Director of Montel Marketplace, a free-to-use platform for trading of Guarantees of Origin. She has worked in the energy sector for over 10 years and has experience from various aspects of energy markets. She leads the build-up of the Montel Marketplace with a strong focus on creating an intuitive, easy-to-use solution to match the needs of the market actors. 

Joni Vuorela

Green Trading Desk Manager, Fortum

Joni Vuorela is working as Green Trading Desk Manager in Fortum. He joined Fortum in 2014 and has ever since worked on the  different aspects of Guarantees of Origin market. In his current role he is coordinating the various tasks in Fortum relating to GoOs, both in generation and in supply. He is also actively participating on development of the GoO market for future needs in various working groups on European and national level.  

Manuela Rodriguez

Legal Counsel, CerQlar

Manuela has 10+ years of experience in senior legal positions. Her focus is on commercial matters and developing regulatory landscape shaping the renewable energy market. Manuela is also lecturer of European Private Law at University of Amsterdam.

Konstantinos Sklavenitis

Account Executive, CerQlar

Konstantinos has developed regional environmental commodities markets from the ground up, advised key industry participants on topics around renewable energy adoption and emission reductions, and worked with governmental bodies and relevant agencies on introducing new legislation and market practices around renewable energy and gas certificates trading. Currently, he leverages his previous experience to help market participants scale their certificate business operations.

Head of Product Management, CerQlar

Martin is a Head of Product Management at CerQlar, leveraging his background in computer science and human-computer interaction to create impactful user experiences in the renewable energy industry. With diverse experience across various industries in development, research, and design roles, Martin has gained a comprehensive understanding of the product development cycle. His expertise lies in working with people, understanding user needs, and successfully launching products. Martin aims to provide delightful user experiences that truly impact people’s lives and goes beyond mere functionality.

Justin Colley

Manager, Electricity and Environmental Markets, Argus Media

Justin has worked at Argus for 12 years covering European electricity, compliance carbon and renewable energy certificate wholesale markets. He launched Argus’ coverage of European power guarantee of origin markets in 2019 and has since expanded that to biomethane and global I-RECs. Justin gives regular presentations at industry events, sharing views on electricity and renewable energy certificate market trends and developments, with a particular focus on pricing and fundamentals.

HUPX GO Project Manager

Laszlo has been the project manager of the first pan-European organized GO market, launched by HUPX in 2022. In the past years he supported the development of the Hungarian regulatory framework, HUPX GO’s unique market design and an auction algorithm, which optimizes social welfare. At the same time at CEEGEX (the Hungarian gas exchange) he’s responsible for the development of gas markets, where gas GOs are already in the spotlight.
