Swedish Energy Day 2024

The essential gathering for energy professionals interested in the Swedish energy market.

Dinner cruise is now fully booked! Only a few seats left for the conference.

Swedish Energy day returns for the first time in five years on 29 May 2024, bringing you expert insights and unrivalled networking opportunities within the Swedish Energy sector. Please note, the language used for this conference will be English.

The day begins with registration, before we take a look at the impacts of global economics on the energy landscape, price drivers in the 2024 energy market and the functioning of the financial electricity market through zonal futures and market coupling. Other notable discussions will cover the economics of green steel in Sweden, the viability of baseload PPAs for wind power, and the potential impacts of batteries on energy prices.

In the afternoon, the program shifts to more future-oriented topics, such as the potential for a fusion power industry in Sweden, the prerequisites for new nuclear power developments and if Sweden can achieve its 30 TWh solar power goal by 2030.

Panel discussions and expert sessions will also explore the use of artificial intelligence in electricity markets, as well as the pros and cons of flow-based market coupling.

The event concludes with a dinner cruise, offering further networking opportunities.

We look forward to seeing you in Stockholm!
